Another 2 portuguese monuments classified as UNESCO World Patrimony

The Palácio de Mafra and Bom Jesus em Braga are the new portuguese monuments classified as World Patrimony of UNESCO. The decision was announced on Azerbaijan, where the United Nations for Education, Science and Culture (UNESCO) 43.º Patrimony's Comitee session took place.
It is important to point out that, in Mafra, the classification includes the group of the Palace itself, Basílica, Convento, Jardim do Cerco e Tapada de Mafra.
From now on, Portugal has a total of 17 different places classified as World Patrimony. Besides Bom Jesus de Braga and Palácio de Mafra, the 15 other places in Portugal on that unique UNESCO list are:
1. Historic Center of the city of Guimarães
2. Historic Center of Porto, Ponte Luiz I and Mosteiro da Serra do Pilar
3. Alto Douro Vinhateiro
4. Pre-Historic sites of rock art of Vale do Rio Côa and Siega Verde
5. Coimbra University - Alta and Sofia
6. Mosteiro da Batalha
7. Mosteiro de Alcobaça
8. Convento de Cristo, Tomar
9. Paisagem Cultural de Sintra
10. Mosteiro dos Jerónimos and Torre de Belém
11. Évora Historic Center
12. Elvas Garrison and its Fortifications
13. Laurissilva Forest of Madeira
14. Landscape of the Cultura da Vinha da Ilha do Pico
15. Historic Center of Angra do Heroísmo in Azores
